The International Network for the History of Occupational and Environmental Prevention, who deal with occupational health and the history of medicine.

The Network exists to promote studies related to the historical evolution of hospitals from their beginnings to the present day by providing an international forum for communication and discussion among scholars interested in the subject. Particular encouragement is given to newcomers to the field.

Founded in Paris in 1921. The purpose of the group is to assist and support the historical study of all questions relating to the medical and biomedical sciences and to the other branches of the healing arts.
